Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Philippines national drugs convict on the death row, Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso loiters for a teleconference from her government as she is deemed crucial for the unravelling of human trafficking case of her accomplice. Mary Jane was scheduled to be executed along with the second batch of executed inmates but was immediately saved by his government personal request to President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo which suggests her importance to testify against Maria Krsitina Sergio, a human trafficker who allegedly recruited Mary Jane and led her into the drugs business.

Kristina’s trial takes place in Philippines and due to the fact that Indonesian Attorney General forbids Mary Jane to travel back and testify, she has to do it using the method of teleconference.

The Head of Wirogunan Correctional Institution, Zainal Arifin cannot yet confirm the time and date of the teleconference. This is because the Philippines government has not yet give any specific information confirming the schedule.

"Up until now we have not yet heard from their government. No mails have been sent to us," Zainal explained in Yogyakarta, Friday (8/5/2015).

Mary Jane was initially scheduled to testify against her accomplice in Philippines on 8 through to 14 May 2015. Teleconference method will be used for her to testify as Indonesia does not allow her to travel back to her country especially with her still obliged to face the capital punishment in Indonesia.
