"As soon as we were informed about the situation, we immediately dispatch relevant authority personnel which include the Indonesian Intelligence Agency (BIN)," Minister Tedjo shared in East Java, Wednesday (13/5/2015).
The deployment of Indonesian authority representatives is imperative as to help local authorities address the issue, especially with the perpetrator comes from Indonesia.
The government then, feels responsible for such case and necessitated such intervention.
Additionally, Brunei Darussalam authority has all the evidence needed to prove that Rustawi is inexcusably guilty for carrying threatening objects and becoming a member of a radical group.
Indonesian government is hoping him to be sent back home and receive capital punishment.
"We are hoping for him to perform trial back home with our legal system and capital punishment," Minister Tedjo continued explaining.
Minister Tedjo has previously received information which contradicts Rustawi's action that got him arrested on May 2 2015.
Rustawi was seen to be like any other normal person in the area where he came from. Moreover, the information Minister Tedjo received also points out the fact that there has not been any concrete evidence confirming Rustawi’s involvement in a radical group.
"It has been reported that radical group membership has no relevancy to Rustawi’s unwanted confidence in carrying potent objects. He having trouble addressing his own familial issue," Minister Tedjo said.
