Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama visits SDN 01 Menteng, the school that U.S President Barack Obama attended back when he resided in Indonesia as a child.
The purpose of his visitation is to monitor the preparation of schools with regional standards for national test.

He also wants to boost each student’s motivation to perform well for the test.
Governor Ahok also went to request for these student to remain strong in facing the challenging future.
This means that they have to stick to their dreams despite the mounting challenges along the way that could possibly harm their motivations.
"I am convinced that these kids have the motivation to complete the test confidently and pass the test," Governor Basuki shared, Monday (18/5/2015).
The children were motivated to not only focus on academic achievements, but also to pursue a worthwhile career in the future.
"I am hoping for these kids not to just cheer over academic achievement but also to continue pursue their dreams especially if they dream of becoming a President. Becoming a governor is easy, becoming a President is not," he continued.
Governor Basuki realizes the challenges for Indonesia's subsequent generation escalates the moment advanced technology becomes part of its culture.
Thus, it is important for these kids to prepare themselves not only academically but also mentally in facing such challenges. (Akp/Tnt)
