Liputan6.com, Jakarta Australian Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop responded to an accusation made by the Indonesian government regarding the sending off of a paid captain along with its cabin crew carrying 65 illegal immigrants out of Australia en route to Indonesian region.
According to her, such unwanted occurrence could have happened not because of external factor but due to Indonesian government’s incompetence in securing its border.

"The most desirable way for Indonesia to address its worry over territorial issue is by administering a clear policy for its sea area and territorial border," Julie Bishop said, as quoted from News.com.au, Monday (15/6/2015).
Julie views it as imperative for Indonesia to revisit its border operation or territorial policy so that it could have prevented illegal immigrants from coming into the country.
A couple of days ago, one vessel coming from Australia was detained by the Indonesian authority near Rote island.
After going through the checking procedure, the authority discovered the presence of 65 illegal immigrants who have been rejected entrance into Australia.
It was initially speculated that the Australian government went to pay these people US$ 5 thousand for the captain and the cabin crew of the ship to assist these immigrants into Indonesia.
Such speculation leads to Indonesia issuing further investigation upon it. (Akp/Ein)
