Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Nationwide audience attention now shifts towards the unexpected skirmish between recently elected Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs, Rizal Ramli and Vice President Jusuf Kalla where tension rapidly heated following Minister Rizal's unwavering challenge to an open and publicly transparent debate.

The feud began when these two share relatively different views, from one another in regards to the imminent construction of power plant which is expected to generate 35 thousand megawatt within the period of projected timeframe.

The feud had no trouble inviting criticism among statesmen.

The Secretary General of National Democrats Party, Patrice Rio Capella insists for Minister Rizal to reconsider his plan of challenging Vice President Jusuf Kalla to an open debate where clearly negative criticism designed to undermine Vice President's knowledge will be exploited as Rizal's primary weapon.

"Let us all cooperate well, with our sincerest hearts, any issue can be addressed collectively, properly and most important of all, peacefully. I strongly advise for Coordinating Minister to work together with us not against us," Patrice said, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (20/8/2015).

Patrice continues explaining how Rizal's decision to challenge a figure with a higher status than him will have a detrimental impact to the nation as a whole.

According to him, such move would give the perception of the Indonesian government being far from solid and incapable in resolving its internal commotion. (Akp/Tnt)
