Liputan6.com, Jakarta Penyanyi asal Inggris, Adele merilis album 30 pada 19 November 2021. “I Drink Wine” salah satu lagu yang memperkuat album keempat milik penyanyi berusia 33 tahun itu.
“I Drink Wine” berdurasi 6 menit 16 detik. Lagu ini tadinya berdurasi 15 menit tapi dipangkas setelah mendapat masukan dari pihak label. Menurut mereka, tidak akan ada radio yang memutar lagu sepanjang itu.

Dalam wawancara dengan Vogue, Adele bercerita lagu ini tentang dirinya minum miras dan mabuk di bar. “Aku akan memulai pertengkaran jika minum miras. Tapi aku bisa tahan jika minum wine (anggur). Aku bisa mereguk lima botol anggur dan tetap mengobrol dengan normal,” ceritanya kala membahas materi album 30. Berikut lirik lagu “I Drink Wine.”
