Pada 28 Juni 2024, Lisa secara resmi merilis lirik lagu Rockstar melalui LLOUD Co./RCA Records. Lirik lagu Lisa Blackpink memperlihatkan kemampuan vokal yang dapat beralih dari rap yang luar biasa dan berpindah ke pop energik.
Single ini diproduseri oleh Ryan Tedder dan Sam Homaee. Bersamaan dengan peluncuran lagu terbarunya, member Blackpink ini juga merilis official video untuk Rockstar yang disutradarai oleh Henry Schofield dan dikoreografi oleh Sean Bankhead.
