Keren, Petunjuk Informasi di Stasiun Kereta Kini Berstandar Internasional

Modernisasi signage ini akan diterapkan di stasiun-stasiun besar terlebih dahulu.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - After changing its company logo at the KAI anniversary last September, now PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is updating all signage or service facility information instructions at train stations.

This change is applied to all signage at the station, whether in a hanging position, standing, or on the wall. This change is also an effort of KAI to provide excellent service ahead of the 2021 [Christmas and New Year] holidays (4422879 "").

"With the increase in customers during the Christmas and New Year holidays, KAI will present international standard signage at stations, so customers can find it easier and faster to get to the location or facility they want," said Joni in an official statement, Friday (11/12 / 2020).

In addition to complying with ISO 7001: 2007 or the international standard regarding symbols for public information, this signage display replacement is also made easier for customers to read.

Standardization of signage is applied to, among others, iconography and coloring. The colors used also follow the international standard ISO 7010 coloring for safety and emergency signs.

"This change will make the customer experience while at the station better. The wayfinding signage system in the KAI environment has been modernized to become a navigation aid for customers, ”explained Joni.

In the early stages, this signage modernization will first be implemented at major stations such as Gambir Station, Pasar Senen, Bandung, Cirebon, Semarang Tawang, Surabaya Gubeng, Medan, Kertapati, etc.

Furthermore, gradually [KAI] (4422879 "") will apply the renewal of the signage at other stations.

In addition, to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays, KAI decorated locomotives, trains and stations with Christmas ornaments. The addition of these ornaments was applied to 26 major stations such as Gambir Station, Pasar Senen, Bandung, etc.

KAI presents 10 locomotives that use a special livery linked to the Bima train (Gambir-Surabaya Gubeng pp), Argo Lawu (Gambir-Solo Balapan pp), Argo Wilis (Bandung-Surabaya Gubeng pp), Argo Bromo Anggrek (Gambir-Surabaya Pasar Turi pp), and Argo Parahyangan (Gambir-Bandung pp). The trains are also given special ornaments during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

"We have routinely done holiday decorations at the station to enliven the holiday for customers who celebrate it. But this year we want to do something different by helping to decorate locomotives and trains, ”said Joni.

Joni said that the various efforts to improve KAI services were aimed at providing comfort and extra services for train customers during the 2021 [Christmas and New Year] holidays (4422879 "").
