Arsyad, Who Insulted Jokowi Wants to Apologize Directly

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Muhammad Arsyad (23) who insulted President Joko Widodo want to do the same thing as his mother did: ask apologize directly to Jokowi.

"I want to meet Mr Jokowi immediately. I wanted to apologize in person, "said Arsyad at the Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Tuesday (11/04/2014).

He said he doesn't to do that anymore. As a result of his action, Arsyad have to deal with law enforcement. He also expressed his gratitude to the police because he had been treated well.

"Thank you Mr. Police, had to support me well. When I was sick, they were worried about me, "said Arsyad.

The assistant of the satay seller had rushed to the Police Hospital Kramat Jati, because he was depressed. "Arsyad treated well, even the Police. They dropped me here, he said.

Jokowi had asked the National Police to suspend Arsyad’s detention.

The police named Arsyad a suspect for violating the Pornography Law and Electronic Information and Transaction (ITE) Law. They have also blocked Arsyad’s Facebook account.
