According to him, the decision of holding the National Congress in Bali on November 30 2014 was not the decision made single- handedly by The current Chairman of Golkar Party Ical (Aburizal Bakrie) nor was his Vice or his current adversary Agung Laksono’s idea.
"It was the decision made from the National Board Meeting (Rampimnas). During that meeting 34 leaders of DPD throughout Indonesia, along with 10 organizations founded and established by the Golkar Party have collectively decided that the National Congress ought to happen in Bali. So, the show must go on. For now, the current battle is between Aburizal Bakrie and Airlangga Hartarto," Bambang explained.

The decision of holding the National Congress (Munas) in Bali initially triggered conflict between the Ical and Agung Laksono along with their supporters. Vice Chairman of Golkar Party Agung Laksono is not present at the National Congress in Bali. This leaves the battle between two potential individuals, Aburizal bakrie and Airlangga Hartarto. (Riz)
