Liputan6.com, Jakarta The Indonesian economy is currently facing a number of challenges coming from both within and outside of the country. Even with the presence of those challenges, The President of Asian Development Bank (ADB) Takehiko Nakao admits that he is convinced with the possibility of Indonesian economy growth in 2015 to be a promising one as compared to last year.
"ADB predicts the growth of Indonesian economy may reach up to the level of 5,6 percent in 2015, a significant increase from last year level of 5,1 percent," Nakao revealed, Jakarta, Tuesday (13/01/2015).
The realization of such growth may happen if the domestic reformation under the government of Jokowi and JK continues to be maintained and developed. Nakao also praises the government’s focus in its effort to maintain the macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation and increasing the backup for foreign exchange.

"A strongly established domestic reformation by Jokowi and JK has led to the increase of the market’s confidence in trusting the economic programs yielded from the government," Nakao continued.
According to him, as a result of the elimination of subsidized fuel price, the government can now allocate the additional budget to human resources and the development of infrastructure. It is of paramount importance to have more budgets allocated for the growth of Indonesia’s economy.
"I think the Indonesian economy will grow a lot stronger this year," he concluded. (Akp/Ein)
