Royal Family Celebrates Safe Arrival of Kate's Baby Girl

Kate Middleton has given birth to a baby girl at the hospital where her first child was born in 2013.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta The world ambitiously loiters for the safe arrival of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton's baby. 

Kate was admitted to St Mary's hospital at approximately 06.00 local time accompanied by her husband, Prince William. 

Both Prince William and Kate decided to leave the sex of the unborn child unknown as to keep it mysterious until the baby finally comes out, officials said.

The wait is now over as recent reports suggest that Kate has successfully given birth to a baby girl at around 08.34 am local time. 

British authority has previously expressed the nation's excitement prior to the baby's safe arrival.

"Best of luck to the Duchess of Cambridge today, as she gives birth to her second child. The thoughts of the whole country will be with her," British Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg tweeted, as quoted from BBC.com,Saturday (2/5/2015).

The royal couple has chosen the same hospital where their first baby, George was born.

The palace's official twitter account with the name @kensingtonroyal has actively posted notifications conveying the progress towards the final labour stage and the phase when the baby girl is finally out of her Kate’s womb.

"The baby weighs 8lbs 3 oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth," as quoted from Kensington Palace official twitter account.
