Maritime and Fisheries Minister Susi Grieves over Son's Death

Son of Minister Susi Pudjiastuti, Panji Hilmansyah died at the age of 31.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Indonesian Minister of Maritime and Fisheries Affairs Susi Pudjiastuti is now in grief over her son, Panji Hilmansyah’s death. Minister Susi’s assistant Fika Fawzia informs that the Minister received such information confirming that her son has passed away in Florida, U.S at 2 in the morning Jakarta time.

“We received the information at 2 am,” she shared to Liputan6.com earlier today, Monday (18/1/2016).

She further explains that the current report is still the one confirming that Panji died in his sleep.

“We have been informed that he died when he was sleeping,” said Fika.

According to Fika, she cannot yet establish statement assuring the development over Minister Susi’s son passing away. However, it has been speculated that heart problem may cause the sudden lost of Panji’s life.

“We cannot yet make necessary clarifications on the approximate time and cause of death of Panji Hilmansyah but it is assumed that it was caused by his heart,” she continued.

Fika then continued explaining that Panji had for several times complained over the pain he felt on his heart and that includes reports of breathing difficulty.

“It is true, he has been complaining about how it was difficult for him to breath and how likely to have a problem he was at that time,” she added.

Panji Hilmansyah died at the age of 31. Before he passed away, he professed as a pilot and attended aviation school in the United States.
