Housewife Arrested for Spreading Pornography through BBM

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Joint forces of Jakarta Police and the criminal division of Southwest Sulawesi Police department went on a hunt for 13 fugitives who were reported earlier to have been escaping to region as far as South Sulawesi.

These fugitives have become the subjects of joint forces major chase as they were identified as the alleged perpetrators behind the widespread circulation of pornographic content.

The joint forces were evidently successful in finally capturing these 13 suspects; all were busted in different places with one arrested in a home in Tamaleba residence in the village area of Songka Palopo.

One shocking realization amid bust operation was the fact that one of the fugitives apparently professes as a housewife. 30-year-old Suberlia is the only female criminal suspect among male suspects that are mostly in their early and late 20s.

"Suspects include: 23-year-old Rismunandar, 20-year-old Al Gazali, 23-year-old Mutmain, 29-year-old Muh Narkolis, 29-year-old Adrian Saputra, 20-year-old Iqbal, 25-year-old Talib, 20-year-old Fathul Hidayat, 37-year-old Juslan, 26-year-old Murwan, 29-year-old Askian, 29-year-old Arjun Darmawan and 30-year-old Suberlia," Deputy of Southwest Sulawesi Police criminal division Agus Sudarmadi informed Liputan6.com on Monday 18 January 2016.

According to Agus, joint forces have also secured evidence such as cellular phones. He further explained that the method used by suspects include using Blackberry Messenger (BBM).

These suspects reportedly offered ‘video’ download opportunity for BBM users; the next thing they did was to request for those BBM users to give their email and password. That is how the ‘clip’ or ‘video’ is being sent.
