Emtek Announces Rp 1.97 Trillion Dividend

PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk announced a dividend payment of Rp 350 per share.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (Emtek, IDX:EMTK) announced a dividend payment of Rp 350 per share for a total dividend of Rp 1.97 trillion. This represents 180 percent of the fiscal year 2014 net profit of Rp 1.09 trillion.

This decision was made public during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held by Emtek on Wednesday, April 22, 2015.

Vice President Director of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi (Emtek), Mr. Sutanto Hartono, said that in 2014 Emtek recorded Rp 550 billion in capital expenditure. For this year, Emtek plans to spend as similar amount as 2014.

As for the year 2015, Sutanto added, Emtek targets more than 10 percent revenue growth. Emtek recorded consolidated net revenue of Rp 6.52 trillion at the year end of 2014, which is a year-on-year increase of 12.6 percent compared to the previous year’s revenue of Rp 5.79 trillion.

"As for the revenue growth target, we believe the media division will exceed the market. We predict that the market revenue growth shall be around 10 to 11 percent, hence the (revenue growth) target to be above that, in the teens of percent," he explained.

Sutanto admits that they have great hopes for Nexmedia, which is currently experiencing a significant improvement as measured by the increase in the number of customers: from 80k (2013) to 124k (last year).

Nonetheless, Sutanto said, since Nexmedia’s portfolio is still fairly minuscule compared to the overall media division, the total impact of the digital business is not as prominent. Currently, the major chunk of the revenue contribution comes from the media division.

Talking about Emtek's profit, Sutanto unveils that is has been actively utilized for investment.

"As for the profit, we are still actively investing it, for example if we are talking about pay-tv division  which requires investment, as well as the online division," he said.
