Liputan6.com, London Elton John puji Ed Sheeran setinggi langit. Bertemu dalam ajang Ivor Novello Awards, Elton John mengungkapkan kalau Ed Sheeran akan memiliki karier sepanjang yang dimilikinya.

Ed Sheeran baru saja menerima penghargaan Songwriter of The Year atau `pencipta lagu terbaik` pada Ivor Novello Awards yang berlangsung di London, Kamis (21/5/2015). Ivor Novello Awards merupakan ajang penghargaan khusus ditujukan bagi para pencipta lagu dan komposer.

"Saya sangat menyukainya karena dia di bawah perusahaan saya. Dia sangat menyenangkan untuk diajak bekerjasama karena antusiasme-nya atas apa yang ia lakukan," ungkap Elton John seperti dilansir Digital Spy.

"Anak di sebelah saya ini akan memiliki karier, jika ia mau, sepanjang karier saya. Saya sangat yakin atas hal itu. Saya harap dia tidak mendapat masalah yang saya hadapi, dan harus menikahi seorang laki-laki dan perempuan," tambahnya.

Ed Sheeran tengah sukses berat dengan album keduanya, X (Multiply). Thinking Out Loud pun menjadi salah satu lagu paling populer di dunia belakangan.(Gul/Mer)
